Learn more about me

March 06th, 2009

My name is Tasha Saecker, and I am the director of the Menasha Public Library in Menasha, WI. When the Internet was just gophers, veronicas and archies all sending text information around, I became very intrigued. I will always remember my first glimpse of the World Wide Web on Mozilla, where I was very aware that I was seeing the future.

Now I spend time looking for new trends, enjoying social networking, and speaking on Library 2.0. I enjoy Twitter (you can follow me at TashRow) and IM as well. This blog is my space to rant about library directorship, share great sites, and hopefully start a discussion.

I also maintain another blog, Kids Lit.

I am back. You helped me with my MLS presentation on social bookmarking adn now I am writing a paper on the evolution of library professionals. I got a bit bog downed in postmodernism and I am taking a break to check out your site which I find very inspiring! I am sure this will end up in my paper too.
